Landhuizen in Bourton-on-the-Water

'De bedden waren heel slecht. Er stonden maar 2 bedden op de kamer terwijl er 3 geboekt waren. Heel slecht kinderbed. Ontbijt was niet te eten. '

'The hotel did not meet expectations or the description online and we had a very disappointing stay. The private bathroom was outside the room across from the stairway with no key given, so anyone could use it even though it was to be private for you. If I knew the private bathroom was not ensuite, I would not have booked this hotel. The bathtub has a hand-held shower spray but water was either scalding hot or cold-difficult to mix to get warm water. Except for the four-poster bed, nothing else...

'We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage in Burton on the Water! It's beautifully located in a quiet area of the village, but very close to the centre with all the shops and restaurants. A perfect spot to explore the Cotswolds, with beautiful walks, but also a really nice cottage to sit back and relax, catch up on reading and sleeping after busy times. Dawn was very kind and made sure everything was perfect. We hope to be able to come back!'

'The house lies behind other houses but is, I think, only a few years old. The atmosphere of the hous is very nice and in the kitchen there is enough of everything (i.e. 12 knifes in stead of 4 because it is a 4 person house).. The shower is fabulous.. The supermarket is only a 2 minute walk away.'
