'I booked this trip to see the perseids meteor shower and am so grateful it was this home. It was such a beautiful place to stay and my family and I talked about coming back every year! A few suggestions and things to be aware of when you visit. Bring your own frying pan from home, the pans were warped and scarred from people using metal on nonstick! 'We stayed here while cousins gathered to visit a place that our ancestors settled and farmed. Some of us had visited grandparents and great grandparents here but all the youngsters had only heard stories about places here. This home was perfect. Grounds had room for kids. 'This property exceeded all expectations and is reasonably priced. The location on the lake is provides privacy and is ideal for swimming or boating. All amenities were in working order and the house was stocked with everything you needed. The deck area is situated to host a large group comfortably and all furniture is modern and comfortable. 'When we arrived Friday, after a 5 hour drive, there were people there that had reserved the property, through the owner apparently. The owner had supposedly blocked off the weekend months ago, according to the one lady whom was speaking to her, but it was still lasted on the VRBO site as available when I booked it. There was a class reunion taking place the next day with 30 people attending. The ladies did offer for us to stay and join them but that wasn’t an option. So after about 45 minutes...

'It’s a very nice and well takin care of place. Very clean and stocked with some supplies. Unfortunately my trip was cut short so I really didn’t have a lot of time to check the trails out. I would highly recommend staying if you enjoy the wilderness. David the host is very accommodating and responsive. '
