'Het enige goede was de afstand tot de luchthaven. Het zogezegde a la carte ontbijt kwam neer op de keuze hoe je je eieren kon laten bakken, meer was er niet a la carte. Steeds dezeldde rijst en gebakken bananen, ik dacht dat ik in cuba zat. Wij hebben hier vier dagen verbleven waarvan 4 teveel. Ten zeerste af te raden. Lichten en kluis werkten niet, op een dag stonden zowel onze voordeur en achterdeur wagenwijd open, ze hadden de lampen hersteld. Gelukkig waren we niet lang weg. De gelukkige...

'We had a great ten night stay at Tamarindo Bay Hotel. Marie and the staff were great and added a wonderful personal touch to every single day. The pool was nice and the seating area around the pool absolutely unbeatable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a boutique feel for their vacation. If we return to Tamarindo, we will most likely stay at Tamarindo Bay again. '

'The hotel itself is decent. It seems quite old and not super clean. The pool area is nice and the breakfast is nice. After crossing the street the beautifull beach is there. Top service of this hote is that it provides free beach gear. Free surfboards, free bodyboards, beach chairs, beach tennis sets, snorkel gear, everything you need for a fun day at the beach! '

'Great location within short walking distance of restaurants, grocery store and beach is not much further. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Free coffee in the mornings to enjoy on your balcony or beside the pool is a nice touch. Not a lot of shade mid day to be able to lounge around the pool but perfect time to take a siesta or go exploring.'

'Convenient close to the airport. 12 minute drive with our rental car. From the city it is also only a 5 minute drive. I would not recommend to walk. Breakfast was freshly made and consists out of typical Costa Rican hot dish, toast, cereals and fresh fruit. We did not eat at the restaurant in the evening. The room was convenient and clean. The bed was good. Relaxing at the end of the day you can do at the well maintained pool area. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. '

'Prachtig resort, mooi gelegen, veel animatie, soms een beetje to much. Harde muziek bij het zwembad. Vriendelijk en servicegericht personeel. Slechte WIfi voorzieningen. Dat kan echt niet meer bij een resort van deze klasse. '
