I booked this hotel in anticipation of arriving very early after an overnight flight. I paid for an entire extra night stay so that we could check in immediately upon arrival. I even messaged the hotel ahead of time to inform them of our anticipated arrival time, and was assured that our room would be ready for us.
When we arrived at the hotel, the hotel staff seemed unprepared for us. We were told that they had a room, but were uncertain if it was ready and that they had to physically go check to make sure no one was in it. Thankfully no one was in the room- imagine being the unsuspecting guest sleeping and being interrupted because staff is not aware of which rooms are occupied.
We arrived to the room, and it contained only one bed (despite us booking a 2 bed room), and smelled very moldy and was very warm. My travel companion went to the front desk to inform them that this was not the type of room we had booked, and to tell them about the smell. I stayed in the room and watched as a staff member dragged a cot into the room, and then poured an air freshener liquid directly into the AC unit and turned it on. The smell became suffocating, and we couldn't stay in the room at all. They had no other rooms available and we had to wait for the afternoon checkin.
We were promised a refund, but were told it had to be done through Expedia. I have attempted to contact both the hotel and Expedia regarding this, and have been denied a refund. I would never recommend this hotel.
