'The rooms were clean, staff is very friendly and aims to please. The lodge offers a simple nice breakfast. Dinner is also available if you confirm - we chose to eat off property. The road to arrive is extremely rough - potholes, less than two lanes at times - but worth it once you arrive. There was no TV in our room, I suggest making certain you have games or other entertainment. 'The property was great except for getting in and out of the nice pool. No ladder or stairs. Not having a/c and sleeping with bug spray on was not good. Nice people wonderful breakfast. '

'This is a great little lodge, near to local, beautiful beaches. AC, hot water and pool, and full outdoor kitchen access are welcome amenities. I had some trouble finding it, but that was more operator error. Gary responded quickly to my questions when lost. Must visit playa San Juanillo for sunset, and Playas Frijolar and Coco are beautiful with a great Tiki Bar.'

'Property was as stated except no hot tub. Shower was cold. Room very basic and clean. Needs new mattress. Pool was very nice. For the price it was just fine. Very rural area but the beaches are supreme. Host Gary is a nice guy.'

'Secluded large space, used to be a boutique hotel with now four rooms open/in use. Kids loved roaming around the property with the two horses being the fence and swimming in the pool with the beautiful views of the volcano Older property that fell a bit into disrepair, not the cheapest, but really responsive host who sent out the cleaning crew one more time Really relaxing, with hot springs just 5-10 minute drive away, we really enjoyed!'
