'We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Cortijo de Carmen. Het is nog mooier dan op de foto’s. We kwamen ‘s avonds laat aan en er stond een mooi fruit/ontbijt pakket klaar zodat we niet meteen boodschappen hoefde te doen. Ook hebben we genoten van de pooltafel en tafeltennistafel. Rondom het huis was een groot terras met diverse zitjes.De bar voor de koffie met uitzicht op de bergen, de ligstoelen bij het zwembad, de tafel voor het ontbijt in het zonnetje en een eettafel bij de...

'The outdoors part of the cottage is splendid: lots of space and the view is marvellous. Great pool. The cottage itself is cosy, well-equipped and really a 2-persons house. The bed(room) is challenging inconvenient. We would heartily recommend combining the two small bedrooms into 1 normal bedroom. That would make the nights as comfortable and as enjoyable as the days... Host Suzanne was very responsive and kind, always quick to help. 'We had a very good stay at this place nearby Malaga. There is a nice terrace, the people from the home are very kindly. Only one thing we didn't like: there were people from France in the house above us. They talk loudly by skype at the terrace and watched television with windows open and with the sound of the television very very loud. But that was (I hope for everyone) a incident. For the rest everything was perfect for us!!'

Good house, great garden (excellent for dogs), beautiful swimming pool and a lot of privacy in this house surrounded by palm nurseries. The nice beach of Torrenueva is close by (5 car-min.) and the trip to Granada / The Alhambra is around 30 car-min.'

'Very nice and clean place, and overall a special experience to pass some days in that traditional cave. The cave has a very good climate, especially when it's hot outside. Beautiful surrounding! And Guadix is a nice town with fair prices. Also Maryse is a very kind host! She has a sense for nice details and has a lot of historical background.'

'Wij( twee ouders met vier kinderen en opa en oma, en voor vier dagen een schoonzoon) hebben tien dagen mogen verblijven in Villa Lucia. Nadat we geland waren en onze twee kleine auto's opgehaald hadden op het vliegveld( Wat trouwens zeer goed te doen is bij ANWB: Thriffy), zijn we naar Alhaurin el Grande gereden. Een plaatsje dat makkelijk te vinden is aan de n 404. Eenmaal bij het BP station daar aangekomen, hebben we Theresa gebeld, zij is de eigenaar van het huisje. Zij spreekt geen Engels,...

'Lovely time spent by the fire and in the hot tub even in cooler weather. Nice local food including tasty paella delivery. Would have been nice to know in advance that we needed bottled water for drinking.'
