'The house was very clean and well stocked. Grass was cut. Wifi worked. Check in and accommodations were excellent. Absolutely recommend.'

'We loved the old house and the old time feel. It had a lot of character and a lot of antiques but also friendly for kids of all ages. They just said put it up high if little hands would touch it. We would love to come to this same house for another vacation. We were all sad to leave!'

'Great time with my seven grand daughters ((and granddaughters in law and potential granddaughters in law). Played lots of games, made souvenier t-shirts and ate too well. A few bugs (squeamish girls!) and the house could be updated a bit, but it appeared to be very clean with lots of comforts and a very well equipped kitchen. Mornings on the dock were delightful and the changing tides made the view different everytime we were there. Loved our time together!!!'

'This place is adorable! I stayed here for almost 2 weeks with my husband, our two children (a toddler and a baby), my mom, and our dogs. We found it to be comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet and cozy, yet still big enough for everybody to spread out. The owner was very accommodating and helpful, he was quick to respond to all my questions. We very much enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Hinesville, particularly if traveling with children and pets.'

'Although we only stayed over night on our way home, we found the home cheerful and comfortable. The complementary healthy snacks and coffee were a thoughtful touch. We had everything we needed to recharge from a long drive. We appreciated the fenced in yard since we were traveling with a pet. The home was spotless and communication with the host was smooth and friendly. We would stay again if our travels take us in that direction. '

'The property had the basic amenities and is good if you just need somewhere to sleep at night. The house was not cleaned on our arrival. There grass had just been cut and there were clippings throughout the house. There was trash throughout, dirty towels, a large kitchen knife in one of the bedrooms with a bloody paper towel next to it, food on the kitchen table, and dishes in the sink. It was clear the house had not been cleaned. The neighborhood is nice and well located for convenience. '

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to it.This rental was by far one of my all time favorites from VRBO!!We booked both this property (Yellow Door Lodge) and its sister property next door (Red Door Lodge) for my son's wedding. We wanted as many of our relatives as possible to stay with us. The Yellow Door Lodge was the "next door" house to the "main" get-together house. But that did not deter family from checking it out! 'My family and I were in town for a family reunion and stayed 2 nights at this beautiful home. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out!! The home was very clean and maintained. The extra amenities were a bonus!! The home is conveniently located near major shopping centers and eateries!! Definitely a 10/10!! Thank you for having us!!'
