'This cozy cabin on stilts is right ON the Mississippi River and offers a great view of the Winfield Lock & Dam facility. We spent more time outside on the covered porch watching the river than we did inside. Our teenage girls spent more time inside and appreciated the comfy furniture, Dish Network, games and updated kitchen. Our animal lover also enjoyed the frequent visits from the neighborhood dogs. 'Lovely country decorated log house with two porches and one is enclosed. A lot of small surprise amenities that weren't expected. We felt right at "home". Two ponds for fishing, horses and farm animals you can feed, walking trails, outdoor bbq and fire ring. When the owner happen to see us outside or on the road, he checked to make sure everything was good or he waved as he passed. Felt very secure that if we had a problem, it would be handled promptly. '
