'We recently enjoyed a stay at Villa Castiglioni. The property more than exceeded our expectations! The location is wonderful, the property beautiful and the views amazing. Ekaterina was extremely helpful in helping us navigate our way to the location and also responsive whenever we had any issues during the stay. I would highly recommend this Villa if you are looking for a five star experience while in the Como area.'

'Brilliant stay, lovely property which was clean and modern. It would have been good to understand the pool would be closed until 1st june in advance. The stairs were also quite steep for elderly relatives. Only small things!'

Es ist ideal für Familien- oder Freundesgruppen, die gerne aktiv sind. Die Schlafzimmer sind einfach, aber zweckmäßig und sauber. Das Haus ist sehr kinderfreundlich. Unsere Gastgeberin Elisabetta war bereits im Vorfeld und während des Urlaubs sehr engagiert, immer gut erreichbar und gab uns viele wertvolle Tipps und Hilfestellungen.'

'Paolina is a wonderful host. She was extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants, ferry information and more. She made dinner reservations for us. Her home is absolutely beautiful. She had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying at her home.'

The location was perfect for exploring the city and the region. We particularly enjoyed the view of the surrounding hills as the sun was rising. The amenities provided were top-notch. 'Prachtig gelegen huis met een mooi uitzicht. Alleen om van hieruit ergens naar toe te gaan, is dramatisch. Geen goede verbindingen, waarddor zonder navigatie het niet mogelijk is. Verder was het een mooie omgeving.'

'Wir hatten ein Familientreffen und haben uns in der wunderschönen Villa mit dem parkähnlichen Garten sehr wohl gefühlt. Die großzügigen und sehr schön renovierten Zimmer haben zudem genug Rückzugsmöglichkeit geboten. Die Gegend ist gut zum Sightseeing, wandern, spazieren geeignet und Annone selbst angenehm weg vom großen Tourismus am Comer See.'

'We spent a few days in Barni. Elisabetta welcomed us on the first day and showed us around. During our stay she maked sure, we feel safe and asked if everything is fine. The house was clean and spacious, also the garden, which has a pool, a nice BBQ area and lot of toys for the children. The kitchen was well equipped. There was also enough parking space for 3 cars. We enjoyed our stay very much. Elisabeta is a very nice and kind host.'

'De vakantiewoning bood alles wat beloofd was. Comfort, ruimte en geweldig zwembad. Alleen de incheckprocedure zorgde voor problemen omdat vereist werd dat alle gasten tegelijk zouden inchecken terwijl er 3 families van 3 verschillende lokaties kwamen met verschillende problemen (verkeer, medische behandeling) Als huurder en hoofd van de familie moesten we van 4 uur tot na 7 uur wachten voordat we erin konden.'

'We stayed here for a quieter experience, and it was worth it! It is in a fantastic location—walkable to Laglio, and just a few minutes’ drive to Como or Tremezzo. The kitchen is well-equipped and allowed me to make some nice meals, which we enjoyed on the terrace. The views and the pool are exceptional! The only suggestion is to update the bathrooms a little. Overall, this was a real highlight of our stay in Lake Como.'

'Fantastisch gelegen huis met heel groot zwembad en grote tuin. De eigenaren wonen (deels) in het bovenste gedeelte van het huis. Je merkt echter niet dat ze er zijn. Super behulpzaam en vriendelijke mensen. Kwamen met goede tips over dagtochtjes en restaurants. De keuken is erg klein en wat behelpen voor zo’n groot huis maar de bbq en de restaurants in de omgeving maken veel goed.'

'This house, part of which was built in the 1500s, is more than a villa: it's a total experience. The entire estate is imbued with the feel of a grander era, from the statuary in the hedges, to the manicured lawns, to the high-ceilinged bedrooms, to the artful sconces in the upstairs hallway, to the illuminated statue at the bottom of the stairs, to the magnificent views. 'Too hot, inside 29 C. The outlets had all different dimensions meaning the owners owned ventilator did not fit in the outlets in the bedroom. No 100 % privacy at pool. Pool not clean. Our hairdryer did not fit in the outlets. So we left after one night sleep.'
