'Property was a bit rustic, but an inexpensive option for direct access to Lake Cayuga. Faucet water carried a pungent odor when we first arrived due to high mineral content, but dissipated after use. Septic system was functional. Great internet access given location. Was able to reach Ithaca in about an hour, the Syracuse State Fairgrounds in about an hour and a half. Convenient access to three wineries in a half hour’s drive and a brewpub. Quiet space in a neighborhood of friendly people.'

'Loved the lake a sunset views. Perfect boat and pet friendly property for our lake vacation. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive.'

'Beautiful sunsets on the screen porch! Very nice space for a family.'

'We had a wonderful time. The house was well stocked with the kitchen essentials. The water crafts were excellent and we had fun using these daily. The dock was great to fish from and overall we made great memories!'

'Perfect family retreat to the Finger Lakes. Halcyon Cottage had all the amenities that a family needs for a wonderful stay in the region. The lake views are stunning, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has all the tools to make lake life everything you could want out of a vacation. The hosts are wonderful and were most helpful with all of our questions in the area. Our family loved having access to the kayaks and paddle boards to spend afternoons on the lake and the fishing was excellent...

'The property was beautiful. We were disappointed because our room, very pricey, was in the basement or Lower Level. It was considered a Garden View in the Wallcourt Hall. There was no garden. The windows were small and high making it hard to even look out. We saw the bottom of the shrubs. The Inn is very nice and sits on the side of the lake. The food was delicious. We were just disappointed with our room.'

'The most disgusting place I’ve stayed, they false advertise the rooms. They are gross and smell terrible to the point we had to leave and they did not gives us our money back and wanted to argue!'

'Great location just 15 min walk from city center. Check in is across the street ay Mirabeau Spa & Inn. '

'This is an old-fashioned motel - one floor with parking right in front of your door. We stayed one night for a wedding in the area. The rooms were basic and clean; the bed was comfortable. The price seemed a bit high for what it was, but that may well be because of high demand near Skaneateles on a Saturday night in August. Nonetheless, I'd suggest their considering an update of their air conditioning at some point as it was a windo-type model inserted through the back wall, As such, it didn't...

'Had a great stay, will come back again and recommend to family and friends.'

'Onderweg van Niagara Falls naar Boston handig tussenstop. Prima hotel met hele ruime kamers. Geen gebruik kunnen maken van zwembad ivm regen. Zeer behulpzaam personeel. Kleine ontbijt gelegenheid. '

'Beautiful property and location, friendly staff and delicious breakfast!'

'This hotel was super convenient for walking around Skaneateles. The place was recently remodeled and is very nice. There were lots of free snacks and drinks in our room (including instant oatmeal for a quick breakfast). That was great. The front desk person (Christine?) Was very helpful including coming to our room to reboot the TV. My only complaint was that there was quite a bit of mold in the shower and it needed some Tilex or Chlorox. Otherwise, great place to stay in Skaneateles!'
