'We have just returned from our wonderful holiday at this beautiful Gite in a lovely rural area of France. Amanda & Graham were the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we had the most relaxing stay with the use of their pool and sunbeds. The welcome gift of wine and treats was very much appreciated after our long drive from England. Easy access to the motorway is close by for day trips out. We particularly enjoyed visiting La Rochelle and Poitiers and doing everything French...

'Woning ligt zeer rustig gelegen , 10 minuten met de wagen tot dichtstbijzijnde bakker en een grote supermarkt. Ideale plaats om uit te rusten , weg van de drukte. Uitstekend zwembad. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Een aanrader voor wie de rust zoekt. 1,5 uur rijden tot aan de kust met de eilanden, zeker een bezoek waard.'

'Verblijf in de gite als de streek was heel fijn! Fietsen en wandelen deden ons deugd. Bij aanvang met de grote warmte was het aanwezige zwembad welkom geweest. Gelukkig vonden we aangename zwemplaatsen in de regio. Dank voor het grote welkomspakket en de lieve zorg van de eigenaars!'

'Sophie et Paul ont tout fait pour faciliter notre arrivée et notre sejour. Nous avons eu un temps merveilleux, idéal pour profiter du jardin et de la piscine. Nous avons pris tous les repas dehors. Comme l'indiquent d'autres voyageurs, un bémol sur l'insonorisation. Et l'une des chambre double est en mezzanine, sans entree privée ni volets. Très belle région, à découvrir !'

'After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. 'Schattig Frans cottage in een zeer rustig dorpje. Prachtig zwembad, alleen niet naast het huisje. Je moet een klein stukje lopen om er te komen. Bij t zwembad zit een grote tuin met ligbedden en tafel met 4 stoelen. De tuin wordt omringt door huizen, niet echt privé. Omdat t zo rustig is, weinig bewoners, dus dat is geen probleem. In de omgeving kan je prima fietsen. Maar lopen is geen goed idee, omdat het te rustig is, en je loopt op een klein weggetje. Verder de hostess is heel vriendelijk,...

'Nous avons passé un bon week-end dans cette petite maison bien aménagée (une écumoire à pâtes serait la bienvenue). La maison était un peu humide, nous avons dû pousser un peu le chauffage pour chasser l'odeur d'humidité. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Il y avait quelques produits de première nécessité (sel, huile, café, thé, lait) et tout le nécessaire d'hygiène. Nous remercions pour la personnalisation de notre séjour romantique. '

'The hosts are a very welcoming couple. Always nearby to help if you needed anything. So helpful and friendly from the minute we arrived. Clean accommodation with modern renovation and appliances (the accommodation is a gite beside main house).Lovely pool and bar area as well as attached woodland to explore.
