We have found our home on Isla Mujeres. We have been traveling to this island for 25 years. We've stayed at many different places - but the search is over. I am afraid to say this - because there are less than 15 rooms - I want it to stay my little secret BUT I have to say what a fantastic stay we had. Right from the initial contact with Alexander Castellanos, who manages the property, everything went smooth as silk. We stayed in room 11 which was right beside the wonderful pool. We had 2 Queen pillowtop beds. The A/C worked perfectly, there was plenty of hot water for showers and the kitchenette was nice to have. We appreciated the large fridge and the coffee maker. We discovered this property accidentally last year while walking to North Garden for breakfast. This little oasis is tucked in between North Garden and Grill Garden (if you know you know....) and we were hooked at first sight. We enjoyed the very short walk to the beach. The beach club at the end of the road will give you 2 chairs and an umbrella for $450 pesos for the entire day. There is great food for lunch and great drinks for sale right there. Our days consisted of walking to the beach for the morning - until it got too crowded for us - and then coming back to our little sanctuary pool for the rest of the day. There were 4 of us and every day we had the entire pool to ourselves. There were rafts available to use and it was SO relaxing and peaceful. HIGHLY recommend this little gem.
