'So relaxing and beautiful surroundings! Our hosts were amazing and the cookies at check in were so delicious!! The town of Elsah is literally you taking a step back in time! Over 50% of the town is the original buildings from the mid 18 hundreds! The Bald Eagles were very active when we were there! Our hosts gave us a private tour of the town’s museum it was amazing! You can’t go wrong staying there and visiting '

'This Inn is very much no frills, but is done in a very tasteful way, and if you are not looking for a bed and breakfast atmosphere (which my wife and I were not!) then it is great for a night away. We stayed there for my wife's 40th birthday trip to the wineries across the river in Augusta/Defiance and the location was perfect for that.
