'Wonderful location close to windmill, castle and 3 domes. love this cave - wind house, really nice room w large space and nice beds, pleasantly surprised it is so well maintained; you can watch the sunset, although the best location would be from the castle So you can take picture of the windmill during sunset. Btw, you really need the staff help with the luggage because of so many stairs to get to the Caves, Same with others I think. '

'Dit hotel is prachtig gelegen in oia. De kamer en het personeel zijn goed. Je hebt een mooie zonsondergang. Het hotel is wel te bereiken via lastige trappen dus dat maakt het niet voor iedereen toegangkelijk. Maar het hotel blijft goed op een a locatie'

'We had a fantastic stay at Elea Resort. Excellent appartment with our private jacuzzi. Very friendly staff and great service. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast at our balcony in the morning sun. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the beautiful center of Oia. We highly recommend to enjoy your vacation in Santorini at Elea Resort!'

'Super big room and very close to the most amazing spots in Oia. 2 mins or less walk to some of the best photo spots and 5 mins walk to Oia castle and other sunset spots. Breakfast was included and was very good. We had to preselect our option and was delivered to our room early in the morning. The only downside was that we stayed only one night here, would love to come back for a longer stay. Protip: Ask at the reception for dining options, they have very good recommendations.'

'I had a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea right from the bed. The fact that the property was not in a high foot traffic area was a plus and we felt like we were in our own private paradise. 'De kamers van deze accommodatie waren prachtig, ruim en schoon. We vonden echter dat er een aantal dingen mogelijkheden gaf tot verbetering. Zo vonden wij het ontbijt matig voor wat je betaalde. Jus uit pak, fruit wat je als handfruit erbij kreeg en veelal dezelfde keuzes elke dag. Uiteraard nog steeds uitgebreider dan dat je vaak thuis ontbijt, maar als je ruim 300€ per nacht betaalt had de kwaliteit beter mogen zijn. 'The weather was terrible during our stay… but our suite was a comfortable, serene haven. Perfect for dining in, card playing and relaxing. Everything about the room was upscale: decor, luxurious bedding and bathrooms. When the fog lifted the view from our private deck was simply stunning. Christina was a fantastic hostess, and the porter service was a welcome addition- considering the 110 stairs from the main road to our room. Well worth the hike.'

We have seen another review mentioning the lack of privacy, particularly with the large crowds and definitely agree with this comment. '
