« We have just stayed here for 4 nights and would highly recommend. The room was very clean and had everything we needed .Even though we were on the ground floor at the back we did not experience any noise from the bar or restaurant. In fact the only noise we heard was the cars on the gravel in the car park. The food was excellent there was so much choice for breakfast. The evening menu was amazing all locally sourced food. We tried several dishes and all of them were so tasty and the portions...

« Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Great, helpful staff. Close to bus station, restaurants, stores, boutiques, and four-FOUR charity shops! :) (Parking is confusing, however. Park in the nearby city lot in a space with WHITE borders-otherwise you may have to pay.) »

« Had a great stay here, spacious bedroom overlooking the countryside in a quiet location. Enjoyed the food and great atmosphere in the pub. »

« Tout etait Super !!! On reviendra avec plaisir »

« I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and spaciousness of my room (10). Staff were friendly and professional; the assistant at breakfast was first rate in supporting a substantial number of guests. And the Craster kippers were excellent. The one thing missing at breakfast was a bowl of fresh fruit. Dinner was well prepared and presented. All in all a very good experience at the Duke of W. »

« Booked due to location for work appointment..Parking is very limited. Room was clean, unfortunately bed was of a poor standard and very uncomfortable. »

« Agréable pour un courte halte entre deux parcours. »

« Hotel propre et calme. Parking facile dans la rue. Personnel disponible. »

« Good selection of well kept ales. Beautiful views from garden, Very friendly helpful staff. But the breakfast…WOW fantastic !!! 😁 »
