'We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room (127) was spacious and well equipped, in a quieter position looking over the car park away from but conveniently located for the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again 👍'

'Lovely location. Room nice apart from damp smelling dark bathroom. Food ok... starter was very average but mains were nice. Although couldn't be helped the ovens were broken so the choices we made from menu weren't available. Service from staff was poor, not much engagement, very transactional, most were not very friendly. Breakfast was serve your own coffee and tea from a machine.. but latte was barely luke warm so had to have something else. Breakfast very average. Wasn't asked how stay had...

'We stayed here one night on the way back down from Scotland. The evening meal was ok, although elements of my wife’s starter weren’t included as on the menu. We drew this to the attention of the Manager who apologies and said they they would remind the chef to include all elements of the dish in the in future, but nothing else was offered. My Steak pie was delicious but my wife’s sea bass wasn’t to her liking either. The room was clean, but the TV in the room wasn’t tuned in ind I could only...
