« Spent a week in the property. Great stay in a generous sized property. Less than 5 minutes from the beach. 5 minute walk from the town centre. Good range of shops and eating places in Newbiggin. Near park land which was ideal for the dog. House was well equipped. Good sized bathroom. Rear yard was a nice suntrap and very private. Good sized bedrooms and very clean. »

« What can I say, this stay was just 10/10. The level of detail and attention the design and finish of this really made it feel like the most perfect home away from home. Every single person in our group all commented on how gorgeous the property is and the location really is perfect. The Coach House is a good property for families - quiet location and it has a safe, enclosed garden. Unfortunately the main door from lounge to the garden was broken (sign on door not to open) which was frustrating as the other access was at the other end of the property. « This cosy cottage was perfect for our stay. It had two well appointed and comfortable bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. Also, a large and well equipped kitchen (a few more larger mugs would have been appreciated however this is being really picky!!). The living room was very comfortable too. "The staff were very friendly, and the location is dreamy – Seahouses is a charming seaside town with a lively main street, easy access to pubs, and the inn’s restaurant has a genuinely lovely view of the sea. Unfortunately, the room experience was very disappointing. Our room (39) was cramped, with stuffy air and no real comfort. Instead of the second double/sofa bed described, we were given a bunk bed – not at all what we expected, and a very unpleasant surprise. To make things worse, the room was at street level, looking out directly onto an unattractive parking lot and intersection, rather than the sea view we had hoped for. For the price and reputation, I expected much more. While the staff and location deserve praise, the accommodation itself fell far below expectations."
