Cottages in Maidstone

'We enjoyed this charming little cottage in the center of historical Rye. It was clean, good wifi (important for the kids) and the host reacted fast on my questions. My only remarks, with 4 people an extra comfortable chair would be welcome and we prefer a larger double bed. The short term parking in front of the cottage is convenient to drop off your luggage, there are many longer term car parks only a couple of minutes away. Naomi had left clear instructions on how to access the property etc. The cottage is well stocked with all cleaning products, which is always good as it helps you to clear and clean as you go along!The beds were really comfy and there was the bonus of a ceiling fan during the heat wave.Lots to do in the town and surrounding areas. 'We stayed at Buttercup Cottage for four nights. It is located 5 mins drive from Rye town centre in a quiet, private location with allocated parking. The studio is spacious and the facilities are excellent for self-catering. We also ate twice at Layla's, a turkish restaurant, which is highly recommended. 'Our stay with Katie and Andy was absolutely amazing. The farmhouse is beautiful and the surrounding gardens are huge. It was a great playground for our two years old. The cottage was great, big enough for a family, well equipped and charming. In short, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying with Katie and Andy'

'The Hayloft was absolutely gorgeous with everything to the highest standard. Superb property with everything you could wish for and a lovely host. Beautiful location and views. Not sure where else you could relax in the hot tub as the sun sets while watching a crane fish in the small lake. Weather was unfortunately wet and windy a lot of our stay so didn't get to make use of the balcony.
