Woonboten in Hontoon Island State Park

'Nice bar and restaurant; Room SUCKED. Booked an overnight stay based on photos of the hotel and rooms, but there was alot to be desired once we got there. We expected a quaint, quirky hotel but the room was extremely disapponting! Check in was easy, clerk was friendly and helpful, and the lobby and bar areas were super nice. 'When I arrived the front desk did a wonderful job checking us in. Was very helpful and made the process a lot easier. We have two small dogs and they were very nice and welcoming to them too. Our room was nice and clean and the air conditioning unit worked very efficient. 'I can't say enough about the Tropical Resort and Marina, The guy at check-in is always so nice and helpful, the cleaning staff is great, their property is always clean and attended, the pool is perfect. Like I said form check-in to check out is always just so easy. They usually have Live Music and Food Truck on the week-ends which is a plus. All in all 5 *'
