Cottages in Finger Lakes Region

'The property had a lake view and the inside was dated but clean. As we parked next to the house, the garage on the left (which belongs to someone else) had broken windows with junk inside the garage. Not a big deal but not a good first impression. The bathroom is very small and is directly off the kitchen. Kitchen and living room are adequate. Although there is an AC window unit in the window and if you sit in front of it, it is difficult to hear the tv. There is a train track by the house and...

'Everything was wonderful. Only comment I have is the “lake view” is just a small view between 2 houses across the street.'

'Kishan is a courteous responsive host. Booking was confirmed promptly and message replies were timely. This is a cute cottage conveniently located near Long Point State Park (walking distance) and The Inns of Aurora (short drive to restaurant / spa). Also close to King Ferry Corner Store, a quaint shop for groceries / supplies / some local artisan items. Kitchen has dishes/cooking supplies necessary for meal prep and had a well-stocked pantry with cooking oil, spices, and some basic staples....

'Very nice property, host was very helpful and easy to contact. We enjoyed our stay!'

'We just loved the little yellow house on the lake. The house had everything you could ask for. It was perfect for our vacation. The neighbors were warm and welcoming as well. We would choose this again and again.'

'The place was very nice! Many nice touches and we didn’t need anything. Just a heads up that the space at the lake is down over a steep hill, so be prepared to drive down if taking many things to enjoy around the fire pit. Front porch was a great place to sit in the mornings and the neighborhood was clean and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked and loved the decorative touches '

'Great place with a great lakefront! Worked out perfectly.'

'Loved the view at the house on Demmon Lake. Cozy and cute!'

'Very clean, comfortable beds, and furniture. We loved the surroundings. Beautiful home and very tastefully decorated. Host was most gracious. Family enjoyed are one night stay on out way to niagara Falls.'

'We enjoyed our week at the Lake House. The ATV riders enjoyed the access to the trail and the fishing off the dock was fun. Great place for family fun. The house was well stocked with supplies and the hosts provided great communication and information. We were irritated with the amount of flies that were able to come inside and would recommend some window and door screen repairs to limit pests.'

'This house was excellent. Very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need. Also had plenty of towels for the family. The beds were very comfortable and it’s very quiet. Very easy to get to Penn Yan by car in a few minutes. We will definitely rent this property again.'

'The location was convenient for visiting Syracuse, and the large fenced yard was a great feature for traveling with my dog. However, several issues affected my stay. I had to contact the host twice before receiving the check-in instructions, which added unnecessary stress on the day of arrival. The cleanliness was disappointing considering the 120 cleaning fee. The walls, doors, and baseboards were visibly dirty, and there were numerous dead bugs inside the home. I photographed the condition and...

'Timely communications. Check in was easy with a door code message. Everything as advertised. Very clean. Beautiful place. Verizon had limited service in the area so be ready to have your door code saved (e.g., screen shot) for when you get to the front door.'

'Wonderful location, close to the village, but peaceful. The camp was clean and comfortable, and you can't beat the sunsets!'

'The property team was easy to get a hold of and work with.'
