'What an absolutely lovely retreat by the water. We couldn’t have had a more glorious time. The view was spectacular and the outdoor hot tub on the cliff is an experience like no other. My only complaint is that we couldn’t book another night.'

'Fabulous property in Sooke. We stayed for six nights and enjoyed watching the seals and kingfishers while sitting out on the dock drinking local cider. The beaches were great to explore and everyone we met was friendly and chill. Would definitely love to come back.'

'My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and our experience could not have been better. The host checked in briefly when we arrived but then gave us our privacy for the duration of the stay. The cottage is beautiful inside and out and very quiet and peaceful. Amazing to lay in the hammock staring up at the trees or soak with a morning coffee in the hot tub. The viewpoint (about a 1-2 minute walk from the cottage) was stunning; glorious views of the channel with birds soaring below...

'Cute and quaint, cozy little retreat in the woods. Lots of bird songs to hear, but note that sounds of nearby road are also noticeable. Enjoyed a few good movies as there is an interesting selection of dvds. It is perfectly relaxing; don't forget your bubblebath!'

'A group of 5 of us stayed at this beautiful cabin for a long weekend. There was plenty of space for each of us to have our own bed and the 2 showers & provided towels was nice. Kitchen had essentials, some tea, oil, instant coffee and some leftover condiments in the fridge. The patio has a lovely view in the trees but would love to see more comfortable outdoor furniture there for lounging. Would also love to see a bigger couch or more sofas by the tv to fit a big group. 'Super disappointed that there was no coffee machine in my unit. One does not expect to have to travel with coffee beans, in order to use a grinder to use a French Press! The window in the entrance door is missing its blind or curtain? This looks directly into the bedroom and entrance to the bathroom. Also no dish cloths. I was given the access code to the supply room but there was nothing there that helped.'

'Wat een fijn hotel. We verbleven hier 1 nachtje. We hadden een kamer met 2 badkamers, 2 gashaarden, keuken, zithoek en gigantisch bed. Om 4 uur wilde we inchecken, was de kamer nog niet klaar. Na lang wachten kregen we een upgrade. Ideale ligging. Ontbijt tegen betaling van 10 dollar was oke, niet bijzonder.'
