'Highlight of our trip! The hotel rooms are spacious, clean (although I did find a few strands of hair here and there but never felt the place was unclean), and the overall environment was private. Food was great, can confirm dinner and bfast are different every day. It was a really nice touch that the chef stops by. We only had breakfast and then hotel provided snacks (even their snacks were different each day), we felt full until dinner. Onsen was amazing. Would recommend this place to...

'Nice place. Chose the dormitory, the bed does creak with every movement as it is made of wood. It was good for a one night stay for me, but if you are staying for 2 night or more, I recommend choosing the rooms instead. Lovely staff though, I was able to leave my luggage early in the morning before check in. '

'I LOVE THIS HOTEL! The manager and the staff at the front desk were so friendly and welcoming. They explained everything so thoroughly on how the hotel works and cool locations to check out nearby. The ladies at the front desk were also super helpful in case I had any issues finding things nearby so thank you so much again!! 'We loved the staff and hospitality at Momijiya. My husband said it felt like we were staying at our grandma's house. We loved the ryokan experience as well. We really felt we were getting a more intimate Japanese experience. The food really put us Americans out of our comfort zone, but we wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
