Paleizen in Palermo

'This hotel has four stars, but in my opinion it would certainly deserve a fifth one. It's right in the historic centre, but located between a lovely quiet square and a narrow ancient street, which makes it a very quiet environment - an island of silence right in the middle of a very loud and busy city. Very friendly staff, cool classic and relatively spacious rooms, and of course the lounge (which looks like a medieval cloister) with a live pianist is breathtaking. On second thought - the hotel...

'Hotel zit midden in het uitgaansgebied. Op loopafstand van nog meer leuke en gezellige steegjes. Wat voor ons minder prettig was, was dat we in de kamers geen direct licht hadden. Het raam keek uit op de “koker” van de installaties van het hotel. Was erg deprimerend. Ook liep het water vanuit de douche onder de douchewand door, waardoor de badkamervloer met water stond. Er is wel een dakterras met mooi uitzicht op de stad/zee. Ontbijt was prima! '

'Our stay in Palermo was made even more memorable by this charming room thanks to its unbeatable location, perfectly located right in front of a charming piazza. Waking up to the lively yet peaceful atmosphere was a true delight, with the sounds of the city slowly coming to life just outside our window. 'Toplocation when you are in Palermo. Close to everything. Extremely friendly staff. '

'Hot water for shower was not sufficient. After a short time the water got cold. And we had a room with minimum daylight. Breakfast and bed was fantastic'

'This place is exactly as it is in the photos. A fantastic finish and money well spent on renovating this property. And plenty of space. Communication was great but instructions a bit complicated. The one thing that would have topped the visit, would have been having a fridge in the room. There is.a communal fridge downstairs, but one in the room would be better. All in all I would recommend. Thank you'

'Location was perfect. Walkable to many sites. Staff was very helpful, carried my luggage up steps. Great, affordable option. I recommend staying here.'
