Chalets in Sicilië

'Lovely property and owner . Spacious, clean, well decorated with numerous sitting areas to choose from. Gorgeous pool . Lovely , friendly and helpful host. Recycling bins on property would be useful. Only issue was local area with lack of bus routes and supermarket . Good choice of restaurants and bars within walking distance so surprising no other shops/ provisions. Restricted chance to visit neighbouring areas , being rather isolated. Reviews had mentioned bus routes hence booking apartment...

'Het gemeenschappelijke zwembad had ik in de tuin verwacht , maar nee, dat is bij een hotel 25 minuten lopen... oven kapot, 1 gaspit doet het niet; bidet werkt niet, bedden zakken door, 1 kledingkast voor 4 personen.. dus koffers maar in de woonkamer gezet; in de verbandtrommel CD’s in plaats van de pleister die ik nodig had, 1 poortsleutel, dus apart van elkaar buiten de deur dingen gaan doen kan niet, want dan kun je er niet meer in. heel jammer dit, ik had meer verwacht voor deze prijs.'

'Signora Maria war eine sehr aufmerksame, hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeberin. Das Zimmer ist geschmackvoll und mit Fürsorge eingerichtet. Auch die Technik, Heizung usw. ist perfekt.'

'We booked for 3 nights, host never added any check in details, he refused to check us in the first night because we arrived at 10pm! We were left with nowhere to stay and he told me to message him in the morning. I messaged the following morning and he told me the property isn’t available anymore!! '

'Insgesamt gab es alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist super zwischen Ätna und Meer. Sehr schattiger und schöner Garten. Ohne Auto eher nicht zu empfehlen. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und extrem bemüht, bei Problemen sehr schnell erreichbar. Für sehr kleine Menschen ist die Wohnung eher nicht zu empfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar gut. Was ebenfalls sehr angenehm war, in diesem Dorf gibt es definitiv viel mehr Sizilianer als Touristen.'

'We enjoyed our stay at Darios cottage very much! The location with lemon and orange trees is beautiful. Everything was clean and Dario and his family were very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. Our 2 years old daughter enjoyed especially the two dogs. Two decent restaurants are very close, there is a supermarket just 1,5 km away and it is a 10 minutes drive to the centre of Cefalù'
