Cruises in Palermo

'This hotel has four stars, but in my opinion it would certainly deserve a fifth one. It's right in the historic centre, but located between a lovely quiet square and a narrow ancient street, which makes it a very quiet environment - an island of silence right in the middle of a very loud and busy city. Very friendly staff, cool classic and relatively spacious rooms, and of course the lounge (which looks like a medieval cloister) with a live pianist is breathtaking. On second thought - the hotel...

'Hotel zit midden in het uitgaansgebied. Op loopafstand van nog meer leuke en gezellige steegjes. Wat voor ons minder prettig was, was dat we in de kamers geen direct licht hadden. Het raam keek uit op de “koker” van de installaties van het hotel. Was erg deprimerend. Ook liep het water vanuit de douche onder de douchewand door, waardoor de badkamervloer met water stond. Er is wel een dakterras met mooi uitzicht op de stad/zee. Ontbijt was prima! '

The breakfast was excellent and the staff Emanueala and the actual owner (sorry I did not get her name) who was there to greet us everyday were the friendliest most informative and nicest people we have ever encountered in all of the trips we have ever made through Europe! 'Heel schoon, heerlijk zwembad en plek om te relaxen. Personeel is vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam en kan er goed avond eten en lunchen. Shuttle naar stad is goed geregeld en met de uber kan het ook makkelijk. Top Hotel!'

'Very comfortable. Mariella and Marianna were so kind and accommodating to let me check in early. This is at a great location, steps away from the Ballarò Markets but not noisy, still tucked in its own quiet space. Central enough that you can come back and rest and cool down in between doing your sightseeing around Palermo.
