'Great location, it would make a wonderful family holiday location. Everything worked, plenty of kitchen equipment. It got hot in the evening but soon cooled down when the sun went down.'

'Huisje ligt op een mooie plek op een vakantiepark met verder voornamelijk stacaravans. Er zijn voorzieningen op het park (zwembad bijv tegen betaling). Vanaf het park is er ook een directe toegang tot het meer (Windermere). Het huisje is voor een gezin met 3 kinderen (1, 5, 7 jr) of meer dan 2 volwassenen echter wel vrij krap. Wij vonden het huisje niet zo schoon: het keukengerei was soms nog vies/vet, we vonden onder tafel vies ondergoed en sokken (?!). Ook waren er te weinig schone handdoeken....

'Prachtige rustige en zeer stille (je hoort werkelijk niks) locatie vanwaaruit je prima wandelingen kunt starten. Onder andere naar de top van Skiddow (ca 960m). Uitzicht op weiland (schapen) dal, dorp en fell.'

'We’ve just returned from a wonderful weekend at this stunning lodge in White Cross Bay and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. '4 night mid week break in the Easter holidays. We booked with a special offer so was a reasonable price for school holidays. The lodge is in a lovely area of the park near to the lake. The lodge is nice, but is compact compared to others - I would describe more as a big static caravan. Stayed with my husband and 2 sons aged 8 & 11.
