All the staff were really lovely but the lady in reception who dealt with us was especially helpful to us. The breakfast was really nice too. Lits un peu mous mais ça va. Très belle terrasse sur le lac. En revanche le resto est cher et la brasserie bruyante. Il vaut mieux diner dehors. »

« We loved everything about The Belsfield Hotel. We stayed there a few years ago and it was beautiful, but since it has new owners, the staff are happier, the hotel is continually being updated restoring it to it's former glory. Our room was perfect, the breakfast was incredible and the staff couldn't have been nicer with us. We will be returning again later in the year, before we get married there. It's a gorgeous, stunning hotel. »

« We were returning customers to Low wood bay @ the winander club. We were slightly disappointed to see that spa access was no longer included in Winander rooms but it is a beautiful spa, so we paid the extra £140. We were disappointed to find out if you wanted to borrow some slippers for the spa, they were also chargeable now. And on check out I was very shocked to see they were also now charging £12 per day to park your car if you hadn’t booked directly with them. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed...

« All the staff were extremely helpful, the hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished and the rooms were lovely. Only a five minute walk into town and some lovely restaurants and bars. Throughly recommend whether you want to relax in Keswick or walk the surrounding hills. The boat trip was lovely and very reasonable, gave access to some pretty spots including the walk Cat Bells. »

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« Firstly checked in to find previous guests clothes in wardrobe, then the spa bath didn't work even though we were supposed to have been upgraded , then there was about 6 months dust on top of four poster bed ,the bed was broken and only fixed by a 3mm screw ( dangerous) . Was moved to a twin room for 1 night then put in superior room only to find someone's tablet under the bed runner which should of been clean linen clearly not . Put in a complaint to manager and hasn't even had the decency to...

« Amazing, the photos do not do it justice, lovely cosy cottage a home from home and fully equipped. Great location, short walk to village incl pubs and chippy, also access to walks (which pass through livestick fields so dogs on leads). Grizedale forest was a short drive away with really good (long & short) walks, better for dogs off leads. »

« Room was fine with what looked like a recently refurbished bathroom. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented and of à high quality. Would definitely stay here again »
