Cumbria - Location gîtes et cottages

« This is a lovely cottage and the location is great. We had a fantastic stay in Windermere. However, be aware that the street parking is only for an hour and so a paid carpark is needed, not free parking as advertised. I messaged Sykes Cottages about this issue twice and received no response so communication was unfortunately a problem. The cottage was also in the process of being cleaned when we arrived, despite this being after the check-in time. »

« The cottage is ideally located, across the footbridge to Fitz Park and a five minute stroll to Main Street. Our hosts were easy to reach and quick to respond. The online information was especially helpful. Parking at the Otley Street lot was easy and just a short walk away. It was quiet at night, The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. A very pleasant place to stay. »
