'The resort is located about an hour from Cancun airport. We dealt with Lomas Hospitality in booking. They are fntstic..on top of everything at the resort including your transportation. Resort staff is amazing…very friendly and beyond helpful. The room at the Suites side was very roomy and comfortable. We thought the swim up room would be fun but honestly we rarely used it. 'My stay at Shibari was wonderful! Staff were very professional, attentive & courteous. Check-in process was simple. They were able to check me in early. The room floor seemed like it wasn’t cleaned that well but the room and view was so beautiful it took the focus away from it. The cenote and restaurant area were amazing. Food taste amazing, a bit overpriced, but the taste, service & staff compensated for it. The fitness center can use some attention. '

'Upon arrival, all of the stuff was super sweet. I was traveling solo and since I already had a bad experience with the prior to hotel services, it was refreshing to receive service like Astral. Staff ALWAYS checked up on me to see if I needed anything from food to cleaning to small chats. Everyone was super kind. The room was clean, and there was hot water, the views from the bubble were incredible at night except maybe they could be power washed just a little to clean the debris from the trees...

'Amansala is a beautiful hotel with great staff, awesome beach club, and lovely rooms and ambience. Although, it is noisy! We were woken up each morning to grunting and barking and coaching from the retreat classes over a microphone that echoed throughout the hotel grounds. So, if you are booking a room here as a non-retreat guest, beware. There was also frequent construction going on behind our room. All this to say it was a beautiful place to stay, the main downside was the noise. '
