'The hotel is just new and has all the potential for a great stay, but currently some of the little things just make it not a 5/5. Our room wasn’t clean (there were nail clippings in the sink!) and when we mentioned it to the desk, it took 2 days for it to be actually cleaned.. in tulum you basically go everywhere by bike, but a 2 person room only gets 1 bike.. so you still end up paying. 'This was our second stay at El Dorado and we will definitely be back again. The staff are incredible and so kind. The food is amazing and there’s so many options. Excursions included were so much fun! Rooms are beautiful and kept clean daily. We had such a wonderful time. Thank you to everyone who made my husband’s birthday trip one to remember. '

'Initially booked another resort had major troubles. So changed to Grand Palladium Colonial. Absolute amazing. They upgraded our room on arrival at no cost. Lots to do and see. Food was excellent. No complaints from me I will go back to this resort. Loved It!'

Both of the ladies that worked the front desk were wonderful in helping us out with several things, such as recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops, and most importantly for us, upon checking out, ordered us a taxi to our next destination and negotiated a set price for us to pay. If you’ve done any research regarding Tulum taxis, then you’ve heard the horror stories. We would definitely consider a return to this hotel for another visit in the future. '

'The rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the pools and beachside access, along with the extracurricular activities presented. Beds were comfortable and staff attentive. Front desk staff could be a bit warmer, and not all were knowledgeable in addressing/resolving customer concerns. '
