'Beautiful an luxurious hotel. Well equipped and nicely decorated hotel room with everything you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Good breakfast with a view over the Old Course and town. Allergies were perfectly dealt with. Location of the Sands Grill could be better: no windows/outside view, which is a pity for such a marvelous hotel location. Be aware that the use of the spa pool has certain restrictions in time when no further spa treatment is booked.'

'The location was fantastic with great views of the ocean and it was a quick walk into town. Pam was a great host and very helpful and her breakfast menu was varied and tasty with lots of options. The house aand room were very well maintained and you could sit in the front yard (which was also lovely) and have a cuppa and enjoy the views. The only slight negative was the size of the room..a little small for our luggage but we managed. Apart from that I would highly recommend it for a stay at...

'The hotel provides an experience rather than a simple practical place to sleep. You experience living in a country mansion and sleep and eat in luxurious surroundings. The location is superb with beautiful views and the crowning glory is Rueben who manages the hotel and is always available for advice, help and friendly conversation. Worth every penny and a unique place to stay.'

'Hotelli oli kaikinpuolin OK kokemus. Huone oli hieman kylmä ja suihkusta tuli vettä todella huonolla paineella. Mutta koska St Andrews on pieni kaupunki hotelli oli kuitenkin kävelymatkna päässä kaikista nähtävyyksistä (vaikkakin hieman syrjässä) ja tilat olivat siistit. Aamiainen oli ihan mukava, kaikille varmasti löytyi jotakin.'
