'Fantastic hotel in an equally good location.'

'My second time staying. This time the sweet had a beautiful expanded and modern kitchen. However, virtually no dishes, pots or pans and no cutlery. Needless to say it was a beautiful kitchen, but not as much use except to keep things in the fridge. Manager should at least add some cutlery.'

'The property was so close to the Old Course. Easy walk. I would also recommend at least having a drink at Rusacks Bar. It is a real experience. The stairs at the hotel are a little tuff. Other than that, wonderful for a short visit to St. Andrew.'

'We enjoyed our stay very much. Pam was friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. We could see the sea from our bedroom window. It is a little far to the centre of town, so if you don't have a car, be prepared.'

'This was my second time at the Albany, and I'll be sure to stay here next time I need to travel to St Andrews. The hotel is perfect for a single traveller: small and friendly, plenty of character, and a delicious, home-cooked breakfast to start off the day.'

'Lovely bedroom, clean and well maintained. Staff lovely and helpful. Public space a bit limited for a hotel of this rating. Feel the outside signage for restaurant/bar lets it down. Breakfast also quite basic but adequate. Couldn’t fault the room or staff though.'

'The location was perfect, right at the top with easy access to all of the city. It had an amazing view and was quite quaint. The service was top notch. She greeted us as we arrived and made sure we knew everything about the place and gave us help to find anything else in the city. The room was quite spacious and had an actual King size bed. 'Easy and quick check in with an entry code. Lovely building and rooms were very nicely modernised with good quality materials. Nice option of little kitchen area. We only stayed for one night but it was very well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.'
