'I was very pleased with the view of the ocean from my room. The staff was very friendly and there was a nice continental breakfast. The rooms are very clean. '

'Very clean, very cute hotel with super nice staff. Right behind the boardwalk so I loved that it was within walking distance. Great view of the ocean if you get a room on the 4th floor. Only negatives were the elevator was broken and the shower in the room I originally booked wasnt working so they proactively switched me to a comparable room with the same view and had a staff member bring up my bags. They were really on the ball with making sure there were no inconveniences despite the elevator...

'We stayed for 4 nights. The staff was friendly, talkative, present and available when needed. This is an older property with dated rooms, however our bathroom was recently renovated and nice, and they are in the process of updating the rooms. We found our room to be clean and sufficient for a place to sleep and shower. The furnature is old and in disrepair but again, they are updating all of that and were working on several rooms while we were there. There are what appeared to be long term...

'We had a great time in LBI! We had stayed at Drifting Sands before but this was the first time with our puppy. It is one thing to have to leave a deposit of $100 for a pet but to be charged $100 is something else. We were also charged a $25 resort fee when it’s off season. Obviously we weren’t going to need beach tags or chairs so why the resort fee? On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and accessible!'

'Our stay was interrupted by the tropical storm, however the room itself was very nice. We had plenty of coffee and cups, shampoo, lotion and conditioner. We did find ants upon arrival but didn’t see them again after an hour. The front desk clerk was super nice and helpful. I would stay again.'
