'We had a beautiful, cool room on the ground floor. It is about 10 - 15 minutes walk to the main square, felt very safe. And 10 minutes walk to cenote Zaci (go in the morning, definitely worth a visit). Breakfast had many options and staff was very polite.'

'Great for the price. Very affordable and right in the middle of the Zona Romantica. That means it can be a bit loud at night, but I knew that. Night gets loud outside around 11pm and lasdts until 1:30am then is quiet. Not the hotels fault, just the nature of the area. Amazing breakfast each morning from 9am to 11am. Coffee, huevos, and fruit. Made by very kind staff. Would recommend for the thrifty traveller. Wifi not the greatest, a bit spotty but got the job done.'

'This is a beautiful oasis in the old town of Merida. We stayed here for 3 nights and we could not have felt more pampered, relaxed and happy. Steve and Jordy and their Yucatecan staff are incredibly sweet and welcoming, the place itself is like a dream, our Balam room was very comfy and had everything, including a hammock! We are very happy we stayed here and will certainly do so again whenever destiny takes us to Merida again. Thank you dear people, you made our Merida stay unforgettable.'
