'We had no hot water the entire week. The repair guy came twice and said it couldn't be fixed. We asked for another room, but the room they gave us was worse: no hot water, was even older than the one we had and the AC made a constant loud banging noise. We moved back to the old room. The food wasn't very good. The main buffet was closed and moved to the theatre, not ideal for food service. The staff was nice, though not very helpful. 'A nice small-scale resort with an excellent view. The place could do with some maintenance (paint coming off the walls and mould here and there). Also disappointing there is no restaurant (although there is an external restaurant onsite that serves decent breakfast). We spent the first night of our Yucatan trip here, which was nice enough, but wouldn't recommend it for long-term stay.'
