'Could not have asked for a better stay in Merida. The listing looks exactly like the photos—very beautiful spot. The pool was a very nice touch for an afternoon dip when the temps get higher. Overall, the place is excellent; but the MVP of this is the host. He was extremely responsive, with all the questions we had, even had some wonderful suggestions for what to do and how to get around town. Definitely would love to come back to this place!'

'I felt I had found a diamond in the rough. The gate opened to a beautiful pool, in front of the large patio. The house was large and the layout was perfect for us. We have a large family and little children so safety was very important. One bedroom and bathroom on first floor so you didn’t have to climb steps to potty. You walk through the house and a very large patio with a view of the Gulf that is beautiful. Gates and locks were perfect for the children.The host answered any question...

'Echt een geweldig huis! Van alle gemakken voorzien, super compleet maar ook gewoon echt prachtig. Zo mooi van stijl, heel ruim. Fijne binnentuin met zwembad en een fijne plek waar je kan zitten. Wij genoten iedere ochtend van ons ontbijt in de tuin terwijl onze dochter al ging zwemmen. Je kunt het verblijf makkelijk bereiken en vanuit hier vele mooie uitstapjes maken, fietsen op de autovrije zondag in Merida was ook top. 'We had a very enjoyable time staying at Lemeau’s stunning colonial house in central Merida. Lush palms, beautiful tiles, Warm and cozy couches, chairs, beds, morning coffee on a roof-top terrace, spending time chillin and enjoying bebidas in a spacious pool area, great location, close to the restaurants of Calle 47, Parque Santa Lucia, a great artisanal bakery called Soco Merida etc. The best thing about staying at Lemeau’s place is Lemeau herself. 'First, Rena's beachfront property, Casa Del Mar Esmeralda was every bit as beautiful as advertised. And before we even arrived Rena's hospitality was on display, as she answered several questions we had about the area: travel, security, sharks (lol), Cenotes, La Ruinas, etc. Her and her staff were very accommodating from the time we arrived, which included arrangements for my partner Melissa to actually check in a few hours earlier than me. Any questions or concerns we had were answered...

'The property, pool, beach are all as pictured. Modern home right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool after our beach walks. Netflix and internet always worked, property manager, Gregorio, was great. The town is further than it appears, you are “out there”, but that is the point. Mother Nature rules the roost, flamingo tour and mangroves of Sisal are amazing. We should all respect the nature and old ways of life in this fishing village without impacting the locals negatively. Palapa Soco- yumm!'

'Amazing, refreshing family holiday! We loved this quiet, private beach front property. Pool was well maintained. Property manager met us on initial check in! Great places to eat within walking distance and there was fruit and vegetables at a local market. Bedrooms (2) comfortable with air conditioner in each room. The locals were helpful and friendly.Would definitely recommend this site if you're looking for a relaxing, private getaway.'

'Only a few blocks walk to great restaurants and shopping, this house was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Kitchen was well equipped for what we needed but I’d not want to have too many people in the kitchen at one time. Pool stayed cool and refreshing even in high temps (40 C) and lots of comfortable seating was provided. Very quiet at night and the AC worked flawlessly. Would definitely return.'

'It was extremely clean , plenty of kitchen utensils and pots and pans. Wi-Fi was excellent. Plenty of water pressure and hot water in the showers,which is hard to find in Mexico. The hosts were wonderful! So accommodating. I am looking forward to returning next year . One of the most relaxing vacations ♥️'
