'Excellent stay, owner was very responsive & helpful. We didn’t cook so I can’t comment on those facilities but at a glance they looked excellent. The outdoor bath was very much enjoyed by my son & daughter in law. An excellent touch! Also the other rooftop terrace was lovely. One thing to note is there is only aircon in one of the bedrooms and the living room. Apart from that an excellent stay and the location is absolutely perfect for getting to all the sights. '

'We really enjoyed our stay. Pedro was such a charming host and carried our very heavy bag up to the apartment. The location is perfect, the beds were comfortable, the temperature was nice and cool during some very hot days in Madrid, and there was plenty of space for us to enjoy family time. We did not mind the four flights of stairs, but we walk and hike regularly. It was also easy to catch a taxi out front. We really enjoyed looking down at all the action from the balcony. Beautifully decorated apartment, with lovely artwork pieces including images of swirling Dervishes, tapestries, vases… A selection of great books from James Baldwin to Amin Maalouf, art books on Madrid architecture, Goya’s paintings… very comfortable bedroom, and so on. 'Seven of our family members stayed 8 nights. The location was perfect for a quick walk to grocery store, bakery (every day!) and a variety of restaurants. We walked to the Royal Palace, Cathedral, Grand Via, Plaza Mayor and the World’s Oldest Restaurant Sobrino de Botin (Guinness World Records). A 20 minute Uber ride took us to the train for a 40 minute ride to a day in Toledo. We all were very happy to return to “our apartment” to rest for dinner and evening strolls. 'Lo recomiendo por servicios, limpieza, trato del anfitrión y comodidad. En el dormitorio la cama doble es amplia y muy cómoda y en la zona de estar el sofá-cama también es amplio y muy cómodo. Cerca del centro (andando 15 minutos) y al mismo tiempo lejos del bullicio que supone el centro.'

'Hemos estado 2 días y gracias a la buena ubicación del apartamento hemos visitado todo lo que nos interesaba, desplazando nos o en Metro (a 3 minutos a pie) o directamente caminando, hay unos muy buenos restaurantes en el barrio. En pleno centro pero tranquilo, un barrio con mucho encanto, con bares, restaurantes, supermercados, todo a 2 pasos. El apartamento es acogedor y bien equipado y Bárbara muy amable y servicial. Volveremos seguro!'

'Jose, the manager of this property, was great. Called him on the way to the flat from the airport. It was early in the day so he directed the taxi driver to his house, so we could store our luggage. Turns out his place is only 50 meters from our booked rental. The flat was ready in a couple of hours and we were quickly situated. The location is unbelievably perfect. 'Fuimos dos días a Madrid para que los niños vieran cortilandia y las luces de navidad y la estancia fue muy buena. Cortilandia está a 5 min no llega andando, tienes supermercados en la zona abiertos todo el día, el apartamento está completo con menaje de cocina y todo lo que puedas necesitar para pasar unos días en Madrid. "Echt een heerlijk en groot appartement. Veel ruimte en midden in centrum. Toen we aankwamen kregen we een kaart zodat we ons nog even konden omkleden/opfrissen bij de sportzaal. Supermarkt Carrefour om de hoek, ook fijn om je koelkast en vriezer te vullen!"

"A pleasant stay at this hotel. Nice and quiet rooms with good facilities. Breakfast is great! Metrostation is 10 min walk. When there was no electricity in Spain on 28 april and we arrived in the hotel after a long walk the staff was very nice and we were able to eat and drink! "
