'Great breakfast with a fresh fruit salad! Very nicely refurbished rooms to mid-century style. The beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but still verry comfortable. Public area with a nice fire place. All in all a very nice motel!'

'Great place that is close to the town with walking paths provided and lots of safe parking space. Great front garden with seating to simply relax and enjoy the view. But docked cleanliness points for dust accumulated in bathroom's facilities (e.g. mirror, toilet tank, handles etc.) and spiderwebs on balcony. '

'The owner was extremely kind and helpful and he was interested in the countries the guests were from. The room was clean and well-kept, the beds comfortable , the decor rustic and authentic. The breakfast was limited (eg no bagels or bread) but a muffin or muesli-bar and a good cup of coffee from the lobby were enough to get started.'

'Went for a family vacation in May. Even though it wasn’t high season we were very happy with our stay in Lake Placid. Hotel staff was helpful, smiling and caring. Room got cleaned as we simply asked for new towels. We had really good hotel service. Great location. Everything was at a walking distance from the hotel. The Mirror lake so close to the hotel brought a really calm atmosphete. Free and easy access parking was also kids friendly. Room was fine and clean. Bad point is the AC was very...
