Villa's in Lake District National Park

'Had an amazing stay here! Brilliant room and lovely club amenities with free cake and coffee and incredible breakfast! Only the inside pool is included so you have to pay £60 for 2 hours in the evening to use the whole spa. I feel like one spa session should be included when paying for club level.'

'An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions.'

'Charming house in great setting. All very clean. Most staff helpful but could not get double room turned into singles on arrival mid afternoon as no housekeeping staff available even offered to sort out ourselves but to no avail. Main meal ok but not as good as previous experience. Lack of lift will prevent aged parents returning.'

'Goed hotel vlak aan het Windemere meer. Nette kamer, goed ontbijt, beetje te formeel bij diner.'

'Intieme rustige sfeer. Klantgerichte benadering en verzorging.'

'Excellent dog-friendly hotel with superb personnel who connect with the guests. Great location in borrowdale.'

'Mooi kamer op een mooie plek'

'Friendly helpful staff, great location and wonderful breakfast'

'All good and convenient'

'Nice rooms in authentic atmosphere, the bed was relatively small. All accomodations were present. Excellent breakfast with custom eggs on demand.'

'As a first time visitor to the Borrowdale Gates Hotel I have to say what a wonderful experience. The location was perfect with access to many hiking trails. The staff were pleasant and very attentive to our needs, the facilities including the restaurant were excellent, serving very high quality food. After spending several days at the Hotel I am convinced we will be returning. From two happy customers.'
