'The apartment was clean, well stocked and in a fantastic location. Be warned - there are lots of stairs and no elevator so carrying heavy luggage can be a challenge the floors are quite high. We would stay again as the location is second to none!'

'Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...

'Lägenheten var stor och bra för vår tonårsfamilj och vi trivdes. Lägenheten var ren men fågelbajs på flera fönster, glömd säck med smutsiga sängkläder från förra gästen samt icke fungerande kodlösning vid uthämtning av nycklar drar ner betyget. Enkelt att ta sig med buss in till stan från lägenheten.'

'The location was fantastic, in New Town, but very close to the Royal Mile. Many wonderful restaurants nearby. The view to the Firth of Fourth was stunning. Highly recommended!'

'The Four Sisters was a unforgettable experience I would recommend. The location is convenient to the historical sites and museums of Edinburgh. We were fortunate to be there during the local canal festival and were able to learn more about the area and join the community. The staff was helpful and just a text away. The plumbing is a bit tricky but you are on a boat and once we got the hang of it, there were no problems'

'I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.'
