'Lodge was fantastic for us and our family. Great location base for us to explore the lakes. Louise was really helpful and attentive in the build up to our stay. Would definitely recommend. The only slight downside (and it is slight) was we hadn’t quite realised the set up in terms of booking the facilities on the site as all were booked by the time we got there. In order to use the pool, you’d need to have booked way in advance but that was on us. Great place, great hosts and great location. '

'Huisje ligt op een mooie plek op een vakantiepark met verder voornamelijk stacaravans. Er zijn voorzieningen op het park (zwembad bijv tegen betaling). Vanaf het park is er ook een directe toegang tot het meer (Windermere). Het huisje is voor een gezin met 3 kinderen (1, 5, 7 jr) of meer dan 2 volwassenen echter wel vrij krap. Wij vonden het huisje niet zo schoon: het keukengerei was soms nog vies/vet, we vonden onder tafel vies ondergoed en sokken (?!). Ook waren er te weinig schone handdoeken....

'Amazing staff and cute little cafe on site. Brampton is a cute town a very short drive away as is Hadrian's wall. Amazing little cabin to unplug and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Carlisle is also an easy 20 minute drive or so.'
