'Lovely comfortable lodge. Great beds, lovely and warm and great if you have a dog. Location was great but you do need a car to get to local towns (Ambleside and Windermere).Stunning park right on a Marina. Lovely bar and shop.Great comms from the owners and we would definitely stay again.'

'Huisje ligt op een mooie plek op een vakantiepark met verder voornamelijk stacaravans. Er zijn voorzieningen op het park (zwembad bijv tegen betaling). Vanaf het park is er ook een directe toegang tot het meer (Windermere). Het huisje is voor een gezin met 3 kinderen (1, 5, 7 jr) of meer dan 2 volwassenen echter wel vrij krap. Wij vonden het huisje niet zo schoon: het keukengerei was soms nog vies/vet, we vonden onder tafel vies ondergoed en sokken (?!). Ook waren er te weinig schone handdoeken....

'Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed.'

'Beautiful location, nice and quiet. Perfectly presented, clean and cosy. Everything we needed for a cycling holiday. We stored the bikes in a garage. Stone throw from Hawkshead pub and shops. The owner is very friend and extremely helpful. The hot tub is quite a treat in the evening. '

'Amazing staff and cute little cafe on site. Brampton is a cute town a very short drive away as is Hadrian's wall. Amazing little cabin to unplug and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Carlisle is also an easy 20 minute drive or so.'

'We were a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers) staying at this beautiful log cabin for 3 nights. The location was fantastic…only a few minutes drive from Ambleside. The log cabin was spotlessly clean, and everything we could possibly need. The outdoor space is a bonus with some amazing views. We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you 💕'
