« A beautiful and unique B & B. We had a beautiful room with a free standing bath. Beautifully decorated throughout. There were a lot of stairs.. so if that’s not for you.. be aware!
Parking was tight but manageable. We did walk home from town, but it was a bit of a hike after a long day.
Staff were lovely and breakfast was wonderful. »

« A very satisfied stay at the Hawksmoor Guest House. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and cooked from scratch. Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere. We would highly recommend a stay here!!

« This is an exceptional find near the centre of Penrith. A spacious and comfortable guest house, great value, a short walk from the centre of town, with private parking, excellent service and a variety of delicious breakfast choices. Mark and Paula are lovely people and excellent hosts, kind and considerate, and very attentive to the needs of guests. Many thanks to them for a top quality B&B experience. »
