« Des gens charmants, bon lit, petit-déjeuner convenable, mais chambre gelante, pas de radiateur dans la salle de bain, peu de débit d'eau, pas d'espace pour les touristes au rez-de-chaussée hormis le matin lors du petit déjeuner. Dans un village près de Keswick, mais pas à Keswick. Dans ces conditions, assez cher. »

« This is in the most beautiful location and the staff are so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. You have parking facilitates and they gave us the most yummy flapjack on arrival. I lovely place to stay and feel comfortable with lovely residents. »

« Location was perfect right in the centre of historic Hawkshead ask about car parking at the primary school. On Suite was very small, the vanity didn’t drain properly, the sensor light is a pain when you don’t want to wake-up your partner at night! A common problem with all accommodation in the Uk is that only having a Duvet on the bed to hot to use and worst no top sheet, Duvets are to hot in winter because of the heating and to hot in summer with no air conditioning and with no ventilation...

« Everything was just perfect. »

« The location was excellent, walking distance from town centre shops, pubs & restaurants. Hotel also had a car park and nice bar with a free pool table. Owner was very helpful with check in and explaining where everything was. It is not trying to be a luxurious hotel, but for a cheap room for the night to break up a long drive it was perfect for my needs. The only real negative I had is that the bed wasn't the comfiest but I still slept fine. »
