« A beautiful and unique B & B. We had a beautiful room with a free standing bath. Beautifully decorated throughout. There were a lot of stairs.. so if that’s not for you.. be aware! Parking was tight but manageable. We did walk home from town, but it was a bit of a hike after a long day. Staff were lovely and breakfast was wonderful. »

« We highly recommend Vince and Shirley’s guesthouse. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated, fully equipped, great bedding. The breakfast was very well cooked and generously served, in a pretty dining room overlooking a well kept garden. The guest house is located 15 mn walking distance to the village Center, with an access through a lovely park with a small beach and a great view. « A very satisfied stay at the Hawksmoor Guest House. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and cooked from scratch. Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere.
