'Good breakfast, clean room, and spacious'

'My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Merak House Guangzhou. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located. Our room was excellent, housekeeping did a great job, breakfast was awesome, and the food at the hotel restaurant was also amazing. What made our stay especially memorable was how the hotel helped us celebrate our wedding anniversary. 'De rooms are large and very comfortable. The bed was great. The only lesser point was the air conditioner is not very strong and the room was too warm at certain times. Elena from reception was excellent and made our stay so much better. Very helpful and perfect English. The location is perfect, close to the forbidden city and the pedestrian area with all the shops & restaurants '

'Prima hotel op centrale locatie. Metro vlakbij. Wifi werkte voortreffelijk. Ik had een appartement en studio. Alles was zeer compleet. Zoals ze zelf zeggen: "wonen met het comfort van een hotel" Zeker een aanrader.'

'Ruime, eenvoudig ingericht, appartement (kamer, keuken, slaapkamer, toilet/douche). Keuken was goed ingericht (nespresso, waterkoker, rijstkoker, grote koelkast, magnetron, wasmachine). Iedere dag schoongemaakt (toiletpapier, flesjes water, nespresso cups, theezakjes, slipper). Enige punt van kritiek is dat je er soms wel even voor moest vragen. Openbaarvervoer op korte afstand (metro 8 en 14). Loopafstand Xintandi, Yuyang en Peoples Square en de Bunt: 10 - 20 minuten. Veel moderne eettentjes...

'The location is very convenience with food and shopping. Beijing has a lot of traffic anywhere you go. So, give yourself extra time to call your taxi. The management is very attentive. They clean my room everyday. The apartment allows me to make eggs for breakfast which is a game changer because I am diabetes and can’t eat the common breakfast they offer in the restaurants here. And able to wash my laundry is also a great advantage. I will return to this hotel if I come back in the future.'
