'The room was extremely old and dirty. The toilet didn’t work properly and it got clogged and the janitor was unable to unclog it. We had to change rooms and the hotel staffs were unhelpful, they told us to use another room down the hall as they had no other solutions for us. We asked for the manager but he didn’t give us a follow up report. It was extremely dirty and it was very isolated from everywhere'

'Great location and staff. Hotel is old/run-down. Room on non-smoking floor smelt smokey. Swimming pool was not 5 star hotel worthy: old and looked as if it was a public place '

'The building was built in the 1950s, so that’s the style. The location is perfect, with the lake right in front of your eyes. Rooms are solid built and quiet which is hard to achieve with modern buildings. Once you shut the balcony door you can’t hear the hustle and bustle outside. Breakfast is great with a gorgeous view of the lake. If one is looking for a modern hotel this is not the recommended one. But if one is interested in history and wants to stay at the same hotel a lot of world leaders...

'The hotel was sub standard for a 5 star hotel. At best it is worthy of 3 stars. The shower was over bath and everyth8ng screamed 1995. Everything needs a massive refurbishment. Staff were nice and the room clean. Breakfast ok and location to the westlake excellent. Its ok but dont expect the 5 star treamtment.'
