'The location of the hotel is super, also the traditional decor is worthwhile, especially of the breakfast room. There were some electricity problems in our room so we had to call for help several times. It was finally solved on the 2nd day. Also, there was not such a fresh smell in the room. The extra bed for our daughter was there but really hard, not so comfortable. Still, we enjoyed our city trip in beautiful Venice!'

'Reception insisted on making a copy of my passport for no clear reason, the needed information was already given through Expedia itself and could have been entered into the computer manually without making a copy. Making copies of Dutch passports is illegal under Dutch law and is completely unnecessary. The receptionist reacted very annoyed when I asked her not to make or use a copy even though it meant zero extra effort or time for her. The hotel room itself and the breakfast room staff were...

'We absolutely loved it here. I wanted a nice hotel that was close to St Mark’s Square, it was also easy to get to on the boat from the train station to the dock. Hotel was right there. They were so friendly and helpful. We were going on a cruise and they handled the transfers for us and they made sure we were taken care of white glove service. I highly recommend, you’ll get the whole Venice feel here. The gondola’s are right outside the widow and you’re super close to all the best shops.'
