'De kamers waren schoon en elke dag kwam er een schoonmaakster langs. Personeel is zeer behulpzaam en denkt met je mee wanneer je tegen een probleem aanloopt. '

'Location is close to the airport en center. You can walk to the airport during the day, 5min walk. However after dark the area is not safe and many homeless and shady people occupy the streets. There are many restaurants in the area. Service was not as aspected, some examples, roomservice entered our room after a small knock at 22.15 No excuse made. We had dinner in the hotel, dont expect much of it, no menu available in English of Spanish. No eye contact with us. Had to ask for everything....

'Great place and laid back. Highly recommend eating the appetizers!'

'The location was perfect for the carnaval Less was; Breakfast could be still 11 instead of 10. More people at the counter who speaks engish. Such a big concern as Windsor. Give your personel at the counter free Engish lessons.'

'Really nice staff very helpful and friendly we loved our room check in and it was very smooth and fast no problems very accessible hotel and I love their policy against violence towards women'

'The staff was nice a hotel was clean. Might be an unsafe neighborhood for non locals as I did get my phone snatched late at night and the locals told me it happens often in this area'

'Not too far from GIG airport. With AquaRio just around the corner for a nice visit with a child or infant. Around the hotel are also the samba schools location, specially around carnaval worth a look.'

'It is absolutely a beautiful unique house with a gorgeous garden… the room was very spatious and amazingly quiet. Communication was a little difficult breakfast basic and the room could be cleaner but it was my first visit to South America and am probably too much used to European standards'

'Location is optimal in case you want to explore the historic center and Lapa. Very close to the subway station and tram / bus services. The are, unfortunately, is a bit sketchy. Staff is super helpful and I wish they had different policy for the use of towels in the swimming pool area. Quiet rooms, wonderful shower and delicious breakfast cakes and other Brazilian snacks.'
