Hotels in de buurt van Corcovado (Rio de Janeiro)

'We thoroughly enjoyed three days of complete peace and tranquillity at Vila Santa Teresa, staying in a stunning room with breathtaking views over the whole of Rio de Janeiro. This is a very small, intimate hotel with only six or seven rooms, set on a hill surrounded by a beautiful, extensive garden. The entire property is enclosed, offering a wonderful sense of privacy, peace and security. The hotel has a restaurant that we would highly recommend for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food and...

'It is absolutely a beautiful unique house with a gorgeous garden… the room was very spatious and amazingly quiet. Communication was a little difficult breakfast basic and the room could be cleaner but it was my first visit to South America and am probably too much used to European standards'

'muy lindo y acogedor, las personas muy amables'

'Ligging hotel prima, kamers ok maar niet bijzonder. Flesjes water moesje betalen. Voor zo’n hotel verwacht je dat niet. '

'The hotel is very basic. The rooms are quite small, and the hotel seems to operate at full capacity most of the time. They are generally unable to accommodate early check-in or late check-out. Guests have to wait in the lobby until 3:00 PM, and then suddenly all the rooms seem to become available for check-in at the same time. There is no iron in the room. If you need one, you have to go to the front desk, get a special key, and access the first floor, which is a little inconvenient. The...

'Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit'

'The location of this hostel is fantastic, and the people here are incredibly helpful and kind. However, I wouldn't choose to stay here again due to a few drawbacks. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue—while the downstairs washroom was clean, the upstairs shower area was in bad shape, and the shared kitchen was quite dirty. The property is in an older building tucked behind a condo, and it lacks a social atmosphere. It was also a bit uncomfortable having people sleeping on the couches in the main...

'Never stayed in such a poor hotel in my life. I know I should not expect much from a "budget" hotel, but at least they should provide with essential goods in the room. Virtually you only get a bed in a very small room to sleep and nothing else; no shampoo (there was a shampoo bottle but it was empty. Although I asked the staff to refill but they ignored my request), no drink water, no cups to take water from tap. The room was small and dirty. Breakfast was OK but the foods were the same every...

'Surfaces in the room were covered in sticky marks from drinks glasses & one of the pillow cases had burn marks or stains on it. The bathroom mirror had toothpaste or soap splatters on it too. The bed was comfortable but we booked for twin beds & got a double instead! There was a decent spread for the breakfast, & it was labelled with a description in English as well. But no decaf coffee option was available. A lot of the staff were very helpful & friendly, but the ladies at the check in desk...

'Was great for a small trio of mid-20s guys who were looking for a different food and bar scene than what can be found in Copacabana. The short walk to Botafogo metro station was very useful and allowed us to skip ordering an uber to/from the beach during high traffic times. Great bars and places to eat. Never felt unsafe. The hotel is simple but clean. Location was the biggest highlight.'

'Fantastische locatie, 500 meter van Copacobana strand. Levendige omgeving. Hulpvaardig personeel, uitgebreid ontbijt. '

'Quarto limpo bom ar condicionado, equipe de funcionários muito atenciosos, boa localização próximo de mercado e metrô, local tranquilo limpo e organizado saio muito satisfeito com possibilidade de retorno neste local.'

'Hotel was close to Copacabanastrand '
