« I booked this last minute and so glad I came across it. Booked King but got free upgrade to large King. Everything excellent, very comfortable, quiet, clean, plenty of extras in room including bottled milk in fridge, two bottles water, cotton wool and buds as well as the usual shower gel, shampoo, conditior soap, and an extra nice touch wine glasses in room. Host very friendly and informative, folder provided with lots of information on local area. Mini bar with honesty box available in lounge....

« A hidden gem, on arrival some areas feel a little dated this all helps with the ambience so don’t be put off. Lovely ladies very helpful at breakfast, choice amazing and well cooked. We stayed in one of the chalets lots of room and nice new bathroom, also liked you had your own marked parking space close to room. »

« Great location . Friendly staff. Good breakfast. But I was annoyed at having to pay £15 parking in what is a public car park so difficult to find a car spot. I was insulted to have to pay £15 for half litre of still water to take to room, for these 2 reasons We wouldn’t stay there again. »

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« I had a great time here. Great location you're very close train station and where most buses go. It's about 20 minutes walk down to Bowness. Both Michelle and Christopher very frendly. I would recommend this guest house. Lots of bars and restraunts near by as well. »
