'I read the reviews and they were generally accurate. The property was well equipped and was comfortable and in a great location. It wasn't as clean as I'd have liked it to be. I guess there's a fair amount to clean before the next people arrive. So likely not enough time to get in all the nooks and crannies. One major disappointment was the decking area. It is covered in cobwebs, spiders and birds muck. Too many over hanging shrubs. And generally needs a good tidy up. However the shade was very...

'Upon arrival the caravan was so warn 35 degree temperature inside so needed to open doors and windows maybe it's good idea to leave the window open when there's arrival. Also did manage to arrive by 6pm to check in as we been on day out so we didn't have linen in our rooms which has been explain when I ask about late arrival but maybe leave the linen in the caravan we don't mind making it ourselves. Facilities are good and definitely be back when we go same place. Thank you'

'Huisje ligt op een mooie plek op een vakantiepark met verder voornamelijk stacaravans. Er zijn voorzieningen op het park (zwembad bijv tegen betaling). Vanaf het park is er ook een directe toegang tot het meer (Windermere). Het huisje is voor een gezin met 3 kinderen (1, 5, 7 jr) of meer dan 2 volwassenen echter wel vrij krap. Wij vonden het huisje niet zo schoon: het keukengerei was soms nog vies/vet, we vonden onder tafel vies ondergoed en sokken (?!). Ook waren er te weinig schone handdoeken....

'Prachtige rustige en zeer stille (je hoort werkelijk niks) locatie vanwaaruit je prima wandelingen kunt starten. Onder andere naar de top van Skiddow (ca 960m). Uitzicht op weiland (schapen) dal, dorp en fell.'

'Our hosts were wonderful throughout our stay. Very helpful, kind and friendly. A beautiful location surrounded by farmland animals like sheep, cows, chickens and goats. Highly recommend to anyone. We will hopefully be back to stay in the tents for a big family holiday '
